mockturtle This wonderful collection is a reminder of how much fun music can be. Sounding like Debbie Harry, but with stronger vocal cords, Jenny Dee belts out new wave power pop, soul and girl group vibes with a vengeance not heard since the 80's. all the songs are well crafted with hooks galore and the musicianship is just as strong. The production is perfect. Electric Candyland is the right title for music that will make you get up and dance all through the day and night.
Favorite track: Getaway.

Yumby This is the best Blondie album since their initial 70's-80's run. Seriously, this album is better than The Hunter.

about

Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents Boston, Massachusetts

Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents started out playing music that sounded as if it could have been cut in 1964: “There isn't a music on earth that better suits D'Angora's voice than girl-group-era R&B, with bonus points for writing songs that hold their own next to the classics.“ - The Boston Phoenix
Their new single "Getaway" is more like late 70's Blondie meets the Xanadu Soundtrack. Enjoy!
