about

"That Moon Was Low" is a song written by the legendary Graham Parker. When we were about to record, GP was kind enough to suggest that Jenny Dee cover this unreleased track of his and we jumped at the chance. A complete honor! Luckily, we didn't ruin his song and he seems rather pleased with our rendition.

about

Jenny Dee made her start with Boston bands, The Downbeat 5 and The Dents, before deciding to indulge her love for girl group ... more and soul sounds of the 1960s.

“There isn't a music on earth that better suits D'Angora's voice than girl-group-era R&B, straight-up, and that's what she's singing here - with bonus points for writing songs that hold their own next to the classics.“ - The Boston Phoenix less
